United Methodist Church Hosts Remembrance Services

The Sturgeon Bay United Methodist Church will host the remembrance service “Roses in December” on Dec. 8 at 4 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Anyone remembering a loved one this holiday season is welcome to attend.

The church also hosts the Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle lighting on Dec. 9. Candles will be lit between 7 & 8 pm around the world in memory of children who have passed away.

The program at Sturgeon Bay United Methodist Church (836 Michigan Street) begins at 6:30 pm and uses music, readings and candles to honor the children.

A time of fellowship and refreshments will follow each service.
