United Way Presents 17th Annual Chefs for a Day
The United Way of Door County presents the 17th Annual Chefs for a Day on Oct. 20 at the Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club. Doors open at 6 pm with hors d’oeuvres, and guests can sample entrees, served by each chef at numerous buffet stations. Guests will also have the opportunity to watch cooking demonstrations and learn about cheese pairings.
The theme is “Buy Local, Cook Local, Eat Local.” At least 50 percent of the chefs’ ingredients will be grown/produced locally or purchased locally.
Throughout the evening there will be a silent auction and raffles.
Tickets are $45 and must be purchased in advance.
