University of Michigan Seeks Participants for Coping Study

Researchers at the University of Michigan are recruiting adults aged 55+ to take part in the COVID-19 Coping Study. Taking part involves completing a 20-minute online survey about your experiences, perspectives, and well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Participants can also opt-in to complete 10-minute follow-up surveys every two weeks to check in on how you’re doing.

This study is being conducted by Dr. Lindsay Kobayashi and Dr. Jessica Finlay, from the School of Public Health and Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan.

“We are doing this study because we urgently need to understand how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting the mental health and well-being of older Americans,” Kobayashi said. “Our findings will help identify effects of social isolation and how to support health and well-being during the pandemic.”
