Upcoming CHIP to Focus on Medications

Northern Door Health & Wellness Ministry continues its Community Health Information Program (CHIP) with an upcoming program about mental health on Nov. 17 at 4 pm at First Baptist Church in Sister Bay.

Dr. Anne Miller, a geriatric psychiatrist, will speak about medications, especially as related to the treatment of depression and other psychiatric diagnoses. Miller is an alumna of the Northeastern Ohio University/College of Medicine and presently serves as geriatric psychiatrist for Door County Community Services.

The Ministry also offers free blood pressure screenings on the fourth Tuesday of each month at St. Rosalia’s Church at 5 pm and at the Northern Door YMCA on the second Tuesday of each month from 8:30 – 10:30 am. For more information visit NorthernDoorHealthWellness.com.
