The American Red Cross urges eligible donors to give blood to support cancer patients and other patients during Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October. Upcoming blood drives in Sturgeon Bay are: Oct. 24, 12-6pm, St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church, 108 W. Maple; Oct. 25, 9 am – 3 pm, St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church; Oct. 25, 9:30 am – 2:30 pm, Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, 229 North 14th Ave. To make an appointment to give blood, download the Red Cross Blood Donor App, visit redcrossblood.org or call 800.RED.CROSS (800.733.2767). Donors are encouraged to make appointments and complete the RapidPass online health history questionnaire at redcrossblood.org/rapidpass to save time when donating.
