Upcoming Performances at Woodwalk Gallery

Jeanne Kuhns brings her versatile band, Lost Mothra, to the Woodwalk Gallery stage on Friday, July 3, with the unique sounds of Adam Mackintosh and Anna Sacks to follow in concert on the following Friday, July 10.

Lost Mothra is made up of Kuhns, a fixture on the Door County music scene, Chicago’s George Sawyn and Minneapolis’s Jeff Crooks on guitar, fiddle by Lynn Gudmundsen, and bass player Patrick Palmer. This eclectic band, originally built on Jeanne’s original songwriting, has brought in Sawyn’s original music and a collection of familiar songs interpreted with the style and finesse of a group of seasoned players.

After six European tours and three years in Wisconsin writing with some of the nations best writers, Adam Mackintosh has shared stages and recorded with the likes of Jackson Browne, pat mAcdonald, Clyde Stubblefield, and a multitude of other highly talented industry professionals. His style of music has been compared to Harry Nilsson, David Bowie, John Lennon, Radiohead, and George Harrison. Anna Sacks’ crisp, down-to-earth style can mellow a crowd or bring them to their feet, and compliments Mackintosh’s music.

Desserts by Sweetie Pies of Fish Creek, snacks, and beer and wine coolers will be available for purchase. The Woodwalk Concert Series occurs on Friday evenings through August. All shows begin at 7 pm and tickets are $10 at the door. Reservations are welcome by calling 920.868.2912.
