Upcoming Roundtable and Wisdom Wednesday at YMCA

Upcoming programs sponsored by the Sturgeon Bay YMCA include a Wisdom Wednesday program, and a Workplace Wellness Roundtable.

The topic for the Feb. 5 Wisdom Wednesday presentation is “Spring Planting & Landscaping Ideas” with John Meredith, owner of Lakeshores Landscape. Meet in the YMCA Social Lounge beginning at 9:50 am to learn about organic lawns, native plants, landscaping ideas and more from one of the area’s premier landscape architects. Meredith will also answer questions about landscaping issues.

The Workplace Wellness Roundtable, also scheduled for Feb. 5, is about supporting employee mental health and stress. Dr. Ann Athorp-Krech, Bay Counseling Clinic, LLP Sturgeon Bay, will discuss the essentials of a mentally healthy workplace and wellness program options for mental health and community resources for mental health.

The roundtable takes place from 8 am to 9:30 am at the Sturgeon Bay City Hall Council Chamber Room.
