USDA Grants Available To Food-Related Businesses

Applications are open to eligible businesses to receive a USDA grant. These include companies working with fresh fruit and vegetables and canning, farmers markets, dried and dehydrated fruit, animal slaughtering, meat and poultry processing, fish and aquaculture, vineyards, coffee roasting and food/meat warehousing.

The minimum grant request is $1,500, and the maximum is $20,000. Funds may be used for workplace safety, market pivots, marketing enhancements, facilities retrofits, transportation, housing and transportation services for workers, medical and vaccination needs, and more.
