Utility Service Burial Begins in Sister Bay

Overhead utility service burial will begin Feb. 2 in the Village of Sister Bay along Bay Shore Drive. Utility crews from WPS, KS Energy Services, Frontier and Charter Communications will work to place all overhead electric, telecommunications and cable lines underground. There is no service interruption anticipated throughout the project for the general area, and both the new underground and overhead services will be in place until the work is completed. Work is scheduled to be completed by the end of May.
Traffic will remain two-way throughout most of the project.
