The UU Screens “Incarcerating US” for Movies that Matter Series

On Feb. 21 at 4:30 pm, the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Door County will hold a screening of Incarcerating US for their Movies That Matter series. This documentary exposes America’s prison problem and explores ways to unshackle the “land of the free” through vital criminal justice reforms. With 2.3 million people behind bars, the U.S. has the largest prison population in the history of the world. Through dramatic first-hand accounts, expert testimony, and shocking statistics, Incarcerating US asks fundamental questions about the prison system in America. The screening will be followed by a discussion. Donations are appreciated. The UU Fellowship is located at 10341 Hwy. 42 in north Ephraim. For more information call 920.854.7559.
