UUF Screens “Blue Gold: World Water Wars”

The documentary Blue Gold: World Water Wars will be shown at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Ephraim on March 20 at 4:30 pm. This film exposes the destructive practices at work in the world today that threaten the future safe water supply.

In every corner of the globe, people are polluting, diverting, pumping, and wasting the limited supply of fresh water at an expediential level as population and technology grows. Corporate giants have forced many developing countries to privatize their water supply for profit and corrupt governments have used water for economic and political gain.

The film is part of the monthly Movies That Matter series examining a wide range of issues. The UU Fellowship is located at 10341 Highway 42 in Ephraim. For more information visit http://www.uufdc.org or call 920.854.7559.
