UUFDC Heeds Call of Ukraine

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Door County (UUFDC) is responding to the call to help those affected by the crisis in Ukraine with a new Month of Sundays for Ukraine campaign featuring a special March 27 service that’s open to the community and a monetary donation to the UU Service Committee’s Emergency Relief Fund for Ukraine. All of the funds that UUFDC collects until April 17, unless designated otherwise, will go to the relief fund.

“A Ukrainian’s Youth Perspective on the War,” presented by Holly Lynn and Mariia Panchenko, will be the program of the special service March 27, 10 am, at UUFDC, 10341 Water Street (Hwy 42) in Ephraim. Lynn was a youth-development volunteer at Peace Corps Ukraine, and via a Zoom video recording, she will interview Panchenko in Ukraine. Panchenko is a board member on international coordination at European Youth Parliament Ukraine. The video recordings will also be available at uufdc.org.
