UW Extension-Door County and the Aging & Disability Resource Center Offer Communication Skills Workshops

If you’d like to learn how to prepare for your friend or family member’s medical appointments, consider joining Care Talks, a new series of communication skills workshops for people who help a friend or family member with their health care. Workshops cover a variety of topics and can help you learn how to: prepare for doctor visits, ask medical professionals the right questions and get the answers you need and make the most of your time with the doctor.

Care Talks is part of a research study developed by Dr. Paul Smith of the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and supported by the Aging & Disability Resource Center and UW Extension-Door County. For more information about Care Talks, call 920.746.2264 or email at [email protected].
