UWGB Cheerleaders Visit Sturgeon Bay for Cheer Camp

The Sturgeon Bay High School Cheerleading team recently hosted a summer cheerleading camp led by select members of the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay Cheer Team. The two-day camp focused on fine-tuning stunt and tumbling skills, team building and goal setting. Sponsors for this year’s camp included Sonny’s Pizzeria and Westwood Shores.

SBHS cheer team members who participated in the camp were Sydney Maxwell, Izzi Boettcher, Angelica Laxo, Kayla Pruden, Kelsy Brunswick, Nora Scheer, Izzy Vreeke, Rachel Seizer, Paige Sullivan, Alyssa Hooks, Olivia McDonald, Mikayla Spohn and Mae Kurschner. UWGB members who helped at the camp included Gabrielle Buege, Hannah Buege, Tyler Brinkman (SBHS alum), Leah Buege and Elizabeth Bragstad. The SBHS team is coached by Dina Boettcher and the UWGB team is coached by Ann Rodrian.
