Val Clarizio Joins Write On Board

Write On, Door County has welcomed Val Clarizio as a new member of its board of directors. 

The Door County native and Southern Door High School alumna earned an MBA with a finance emphasis from Lakeland College and, for the past 23 years, has worked for the City of Sturgeon Bay as its finance director/treasurer. She has also served in many capacities on the board of the Municipal Treasurers Association of Wisconsin and is currently a district director. 

Clarizio is also the author of romance novels. Her passion for writing has produced 10 novels, three novellas and three short stories, and she was active in the Romance Writers of America and the Wisconsin Romance Writers of America organizations. She and her husband enjoy hiking as well – in national and state parks and on Door County Land Trust properties.
