Valmy Thresheree 2016 Schedule

August is a time to reflect on the days gone by, and in Valmy, things are cranking up because it’s thresheree time. See first-hand agricultural equipment in operation that was used from the years of 1900 until about 1960.

The thresheree runs Aug. 19 – 21. Below is a schedule of events.

Friday, Aug. 19

7-11 pm: Bittorf Brothers

Saturday, Aug. 20

9:30 am: Chainsaw Competition

11:30 am: Antique Tractor Pull

2-5 pm: Barn Dance with Jerry Voelker Orchestra

5:30 pm: Polka Mass with Rev. Tony Birdsall and Jerry Voelker Orchestra

8-12 pm: Modern Day Drifters

Sunday, Aug. 21

8:30 am: Lutheran Church Service

10 am: Kid’s Pedal Tractor Pull

10 am: Lena Mini Modified

12 pm: Cavalcade of Power

12:45 pm: Lena Mini Modified Tractor Finals

Pullers Assn. Inc. Finals

12-3 pm: Paint the Wagon live music

3:30 pm: Mud Pig Wrestling
