Valmy Thresheree Schedule

The 37th annual antique tractor show will be held Aug. 16-18 at 5005 Country View Road in Sturgeon Bay. This year’s features are Farmall and International Harvester tractors and equipment.

Admission is $8 per person for the weekend, which includes a souvenir button; or $8 per person per day. Food and refreshments will be served all weekend. Vendor displays, exhibits, antique-machinery demonstrations and hit-and-miss engines will run Saturday and Sunday.

Friday 

6 pm Gates open 

7-11 pm Bluegrass music by Noah John and Ringing Iron

Saturday

7-10 am Pancake breakfast

9:30 am Chainsaw competition (registration is at 8:30 am)

10 am – 5 pm Children’s bounce house

11:30 am Antique tractor pull (weigh-in is 9-11:15 am); trophies will go to the top three in each class

2-5 pm Barn dance in the barn with the Jerry Voelker Orchestra

5:30 pm Polka mass with Fr. Tony Birdsall as celebrant and the Jerry Voelker Orchestra

8 pm – 12 am Country music by the Modern Day Drifters

Sunday

8:30 am Lutheran worship service with Pastor Enstad

10 am Kids’ tractor pull, kids’ games, little farmer dress-up contest

10 am Champion garden tractor pull

10 am – 5 pm Children’s bounce house

12 pm Cavalcade of Power parade of antique machines in front of the grandstand

12-3pm Open mic

3:30 pm Famous mud-wrestling competition
