Veterans Service Office’s Employment Program Reminders

The Door County Veterans Service Office remind veterans and business owners of employment programs. To help veterans, the government created the Returning Heroes Tax Credit, providing companies up to $5,600 in tax credits for each unemployed veteran hired. The Wounded Warrior tax credit provides up to $9,600 to companies who hire veterans with service connected disabilities.
