Virge Temme Trendsets in Sustainable Design

The current edition of Green Building and Design, the flagship magazine for the green building industry, features Sturgeon Bay architect Virge Temme as one of the nation’s leading trendsetters in sustainable design. Temme has been designing environmentally responsible homes and educating others about green building practices for more than 15 years in Door County. She has designed some of Wisconsin’s most energy efficient homes, received LEED Platinum certification on a home she designed in Gills Rock, and has designed a second LEED Platinum home currently under construction in Sturgeon Bay.
