A Vision of the Evolving Sturgeon Bay

About Sturgeon Bay: Site-Unseen & Imagined will be held June 5 – 11 at Popelka Trenchard Glass Studio. An opening reception is set for June 5, 4 – 6 pm.

This annual exhibition showcases artwork that examines Sturgeon Bay. Artists were asked to use found-object, found-image, found-sound or found-concept as tools in which to visually and conceptually experience the Sturgeon Bay community. This year the event has expanded to include performance and installations as well as the addition of a second venue, Margaret Lockwood Gallery.

This exhibit speaks to everyone who cares about Sturgeon Bay. In the spirit of community engagement, this show can be read by the viewers as an informative vision of an evolving city. Historically, the creative expression of artists often illuminate the environment unseen, offering a renewed sense of place.

Popelka Trenchard Glass is located at 64 S 2nd Avenue in Sturgeon Bay. For more information visit popelkaglass.com.
