Visit Crossroads for Wisconsin Solar Tours

Crossroads continues their fun and educational programming into the fall. October starts off with a meeting of the Door County Invasive Species Team on Oct. 5, 9 am – 12 pm. Learn about white-nose syndrome in bats and updates on invasive species issues, mapping and volunteer efforts. Coffee and a light breakfast is available throughout the day. Pre-registration at eventbrite.com is appreciated but not required.

Visit Crossroads on the day of Wisconsin Solar Tours to see the solar installations on their campus. The tour starts at the Collins Learning Center on Oct. 6, 10 am – 4 pm.

Then on Oct. 7, join the Friends of Crossroads during a meeting of the group. The Friends will discuss plans for upcoming events. Meet in the lower level of the Collins Learning Center at 6:30 pm.

Crossroads at Big Creek is a educational center celebrating water, solar energy, and working to protect the environment on their three preserves. The Collins Learning Center, located at 2041 Michigan in Sturgeon Bay, is open 2-4:30 pm daily and during scheduled activities.
