Vocal Powerhouse Ruthie Foster Returns to Egg Harbor

Ruthie Foster and her band will be back at the Peg Egan Performing Arts Center on July 18, 7 pm, for a free concert at the outdoor amphitheater, 7840 Church St. in Egg Harbor. 

The small town of Gause, Texas, could not keep vocal powerhouse Ruthie Foster to itself. Worship services and influences such as Mavis Staples and Aretha Franklin created the foundation of her vocal capabilities and personal sound, which cannot be contained in a single genre. Foster’s life and career echo that individuality. 

In case of rain, the Kress Pavilion will host the concert as a limited-seating fundraiser for the Peg Egan Performing Arts Center, with a ticket price of $100 per seat. Call 920.493.5979 to find out more.
