Vocalists Tonic Sol-fa Perform in Sturgeon Bay Jan. 5

On Jan. 5, 7 pm, award-winning vocal group Tonic Sol-fa will take the stage at the Door County Fire Company in Sturgeon Bay.

Tonic Sol-fa has established itself not only as one of the most in-demand vocal groups in the Midwest. The group has toured extensively throughout the U.S. and abroad, building their financial base with a steady list of festivals and private shows.

Tonic Sol-fa began at St. John’s University in Central Minnesota and includes lead vocalist Shaun Johnson, tenor and vocal percussionist Greg Bannwarth, baritone and percussionist/vocal percussionist Theo Brown, and bassist Jared Dove. Together the group reached national prominence with appearances on NBC’s Today Show and in Newsweek magazine. They were recently inducted in the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame.

At present, Tonic Sol-fa recently finished recording their latest album, 30K, a new, collaborative recording in a catalog of numerous award-winning DVD and CD projects highlighting three indelible voices.
