Volunteer Drivers Needed for Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels volunteer drivers are needed to deliver meals around the Sturgeon Bay area Monday through Friday, starting around 10:30 am each day. Deliveries usually take an hour to complete. The ADRC will also host two programs on Aug. 23. During an Advance Directive Completion Workshop, 11 am – 1 pm, participants may complete the “Five Wishes” document, and representatives will be available to assist. Give loved ones the gift of peace of mind.

A program about techniques for reducing stress begins at 1 pm, when Dr. Dave Ferguson will discuss research about the heart and its role in the mind-body connection. He’ll share techniques to improve the heart-brain interaction, decrease stress and build better resilience.
