Volunteer Opportunities at Crossroads at Big Creek

Crossroads at Big Creek has many upcoming opportunities to volunteer.

On May 12 at 9 am, volunteers can take part in the United Way Day of Caring at the Collins Learning Center, the Astronomy Campus, or The Historical Village at Crossroads. If interested, call 920.746.5895 so t-shirts can be ordered.

Also on May 12, volunteers can take a free AMBLE training session from 1 – 4:30 pm. Volunteers are needed to walk parts of the Lake Michigan and Green Bay shoreline to monitor bird health and beach conditions. The session will take place in the Lecture Hall of the Collins Learning Center.

On May 14 at 8:30 am, the Crossroads will host a Buckthorn/Honeysuckle Party. Volunteers will help keep invasive species in check. Some equipment is available, but volunteers should bring loppers, saws and work gloves if they have them.

Crossroads is located at 2041 Michigan Street, Sturgeon Bay. For more information call 920.746.5895 or visit http://www.crossroadsatbigcreek.org.
