Volunteers Get ‘The Shoreline’ Ready to Set Sail

Friends of Plum and Pilot Islands (FOPPI) volunteers spent the weekend of May 6-7 getting the nonprofit group’s boat, The Shoreline, in shape for the upcoming season by carrying out painting projects, installing a new horn and unveiling a new vinyl decal on the vessel’s stern.  

FOPPI uses The Shoreline to provide cruises around Death’s Door and private tours. All profits generated from the trips go toward the continued restoration and preservation of the historical maritime structures on Plum and Pilot Islands.
