Volunteers Support Pen Park Programing

Volunteer Courtney Smith (Sturgeon Bay High School 2011) shines the eyes of the Peninsula Nature Center black bear. The bear traveled from Escanaba, Mich. and spent its final winter in Baileys Harbor, way back in 1999. Visitor donations helped pay for taxidermy, which was done by Mike Orthober.
