Walk for Hope Rescheduled

Prevent Suicide Door County has rescheduled its Walk for Hope to Sept. 27, 5-7 pm. Beginning at the Sawyer Park Pavilion in Sturgeon Bay, participants will go east across the Maple-Oregon Street Bridge, north on 3rd Avenue to the Michigan Avenue Bridge, west across that bridge and back to Sawyer Park.

Participants are encouraged to carry a large picture of their loved one or pin it to the back of their shirt, and a limited number of signs will be available to carry. T-shirts will be available for purchase, and donations will be appreciated to support the organization’s local outreach and education projects.
