Walk to End Alzhimer’s Raises $11,500

About 75 people took part in the Walk to End Alzhimer’s on Sept. 11 in Sturgeon Bay. The two-mile walk left from Graham Park and raised $11,500 for the Alzheimer’s Association to fund research for a cure, advocacy, and patient and caregiver support. Walkers carried flowers in memory of loved ones affected by the disease. Approximately 950 Door County residents struggle with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia.
