Walking For A Cure

On Sept. 22-24, nearly 200 people from more than a dozen states will walk up to 50 miles throughout Door County, and in doing so, they’re expected to raise more than $320,000 to support the work of the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society. This annual Challenge Walk MS helps to fund cutting-edge research to cure MS and empower those affected by it to live their best lives. The series has three walks nationwide: in Door County, Cape Cod and Southern California.

“We are so excited to once again be hosting Challenge Walk MS: Door County this September in our state’s most scenic destination,” said Rob Multerer, president of the National MS Society’s Wisconsin Chapter. “Each year, we are awe-inspired by the dedication and support from our participants and the strides they help us make in the fight against MS.”

Walkers, volunteers, sponsors and donors are all needed for this year’s event. Learn more at
