Washington Island Artists Featured in UU Gallery

The Washington Island Art Association (WIAA) kicks off the New Year in the UU Gallery with a two-month long exhibit. This second annual WIAA show at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Door County features artists who are members of the Association. The group formed in the early 1960s when artists gathered at Martha Stelter’s Holiday Inn on Washington Island to paint and make art. The WIAA has continued to grow in popularity and today sponsors numerous classes, open workshops, and art shows. Washington Island’s pristine land and water vistas offer endless subjects to inspire artists.
