Waterfront Mary’s Bar and Grill in Sturgeon Bay has offered the city and county an abundance of live music since its inception nearly a decade ago. As one of the few places providing a live music outlet throughout the year, including the quiet winter months, residents and visitors alike have made the waterfront bar a regular destination.

The bar offers a range of genres from acoustic and folk to the loaded rock that charges the often enthusiastic mix of tourists and regulars looking for a fun bar placed near the scenic Door County water. Waterfront Mary’s pulls in musicians from across the country including California and Florida. The bar continues to offer local favorites as well as other returning artists that have become favorites of the area. At the same time, new and unknown acts are able to test the waters, being called back for their entertainment value.

Offering live music through the summer nearly every day, there is a plethora of different bands for the community to find their favorite. This continues in the winter months where live music is guaranteed every Friday and Saturday night. The dedication to support of live music, be it original or cover, is well respected among the community.

Yet the primary draw to the music scene at Waterfront Mary’s is how it often compliments the surrounding area. With an outdoor patio placed on the bay overlooking the harbor and the city by day and festive lights paired with cold beer at night, Waterfront Mary’s brings easy listening to the lunch and dinner crowd while satisfying the energy of the late night bar scene.

Waterfront Mary’s recognizes that live music is a draw regardless of the time of day or time of year. With an unmatched atmosphere to compliment the wide variety of music offered, Waterfront Mary’s stands as a destination for those who enjoy live music and a good time.
