We Are HOPE Continues Employment Resource Services

We Are HOPE will continue its Employment Resource Center services at the Sturgeon Bay location Monday – Thursday, 8 am – 4:30 pm, with extended hours on Tuesday until 6 pm.

After the loss of state funding to operate the center was announced last summer, a campaign was launched to raise funds to remain open when the funds were eliminated in October. Thanks to the generosity of the business and philanthropic community, that goal was realized. These efforts, plus continued discussions with the Department of Workforce Development and Bay Area Workforce Development, mean that We Are Hope was able to keep its certification as a job center.We Are HOPE also hosts two job fairs annually, offers programs to assist individuals with barriers to finding and maintaining employment, and works closely with individuals and employers to help achieve mutual success.
