We Are HOPE Launches Annual Appeal

We are Hope, Inc. announces its 2014 annual appeal inviting community members to support area families and individuals who need help with employment, weatherization, heating and energy assistance.

“As winter approaches, the lives of many individuals in Door County and the surrounding the area change dramatically with changes in climate, tourism, and the economy,” says CEO Sandy Duckett. “Because of these unpredictable changes, our Board of Directors has set a much needed goal of $50,000 to assure the organization’s capacity to serve all who need services.” The funds will also be used to provide emergency assistance to people who have a sudden unexpected crisis.

“To help us achieve this goal, a generous donor has agreed to match the first $25,000 of donations made by Dec. 31, 2014. This matching gift incentive can be an incredible way to maximize contributions and help neighbors who find themselves in situations beyond their control,” adds Duckett.
