WEEKLY MUSIC AT JACKSONPORT FARMERS MARKET

Karen Mal and Lynn Gudmundsen will be playing at the Jacksonport farmers market weekly starting May 17.

Mal has been a beloved performer in Door County for many years. She’s appeared as an actor, musician and mentor at Northern Sky Theater, Door Shakespeare, Door County Bluegrass Camp and various other stages.

Gudmundsen is a violinist extraordinaire who started classical violin lessons at age nine, ultimately decided to pursue a career as a math teacher, but has made her way back to music and has played regularly once returning to the county.

The Birch Creek Ambassadors will perform during the July 26 and Aug. 9 markets.
