Wen’s Days in October at Yum Yum Tree

Wen’s Days began the first week of October at the Yum Yum Tree in Baileys Harbor. One-half of all proceeds on Wednesdays in October will go toward Wen’s tuition at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Xiaowen Niu was a J1 (foreign) worker at the Yum Yum Tree in 2014. She dreamed of a career in education that would focus on the needs of children, a program not available in China. Besides working at Yum Yum Tree, she volunteered two days each week at the Northern Door Children’s Center. Wen returned to China after the summer, studied English intensively, passed her exam, and entered UWGB in January 2015. Wen needs financial help to continue her studies there. Help Wen become a teacher by shopping at the Yum Yum Tree on Wednesdays in October. Cash donations directly to her tuition fund can be given at the Yum Yum Tree or to the Wen Tuition Fund at Baylake Bank.
