• At its Oct. 16 meeting, the Sturgeon Bay Common Council authorized Baudhuin Inc. to begin design work for a stormwater management pond and pedestrian improvements on Egg Harbor Road. The projected cost for the design work is $39,937.
• At the Ephraim Village Board meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 9, the board voted to allow organizations that held permitted events in 2012 to have such events again in 2013 upon application.
• The Wisconsin Public Service Foundation announced it is once again accepting scholarship applications from students within its service area who plan to attend technical or four-year colleges. Scholarships of up to $1,500 per year are awarded based on outstanding academic achievement, leadership in school, and financial need.
