What Kind Of Ancestor Do You Want To Be?

Author Katherine Kassouf Cummings, co-editor of the anthology What Kind of Ancestor Do You Want to Be?, will give a presentation in observance of Earth Day on April 22, 10:30 am, at the Miller Art Museum, 107 S. 4th Ave. in Sturgeon Bay.

As we face an ever-more-fragmented world, this book demands a return to the force of lineage: to spiritual, social and ecological connections across time. Interweaving essays, interviews and poetry, it brings together a thoughtful community of Indigenous and other voices to explore what we want to give to our descendants. Participants will be encouraged to discuss the “ancestor” question as it pertains to human responsibilities to future life.
