What’s Coming up in Door County?

• Recycle your electronics and other hard-to-dispose of trash at Sturgeon Bay Utilities (SBU) free recycling day Dec. 14 from 7:30 am to 3 pm. Items accepted include light bulbs, ballasts, batteries, televisions, microwaves, computer components, electronics and holiday lighting. Batteries should be sorted by battery type with the terminal ends of the batteries taped. All items can be dropped off at the SBU garage on 239 E. Vine St. in Sturgeon Bay. Businesses with more than 300 items to recycle should call SBU Dec. 12 to schedule a direct pick-up.

• Sturgeon Bay will host a public hearing on changing 4th Avenue, Louisiana Street, and Kentucky Street from one-way to two-way streets. The hearing will be held Tuesday, Dec. 20.

• Baileys Harbor’s recycling schedule has been changed due to the holidays. Recycling will be held Dec. 10 and Dec. 22 from 10 am to 1 pm.

• The Sevastopol School Board will meet Dec. 19 at 5:30 pm.
