Whenever There’s Snow, Ski for Free at Crossroads at Big Creek

When there’s an adequate amount of snow, Crossroads at Big Creek will continue its Ski for Free program on Jan. 7 & 8. Friends of Crossroads lend ski equipment and snowshoes, free of charge, to residents and visitors of Door County. Skiers should go to the Maintenance Building to be fit and then sent out onto the trails to get in touch with nature. Dress for the weather. When in doubt, check for current conditions and closures.

Trails at our three preserves are free and open to the public 24/7. The Collins Learning Center is located at 2041 Michigan St., just east of the roundabout in Sturgeon Bay, and is open 2 – 4 pm daily and during scheduled activities.
