Wide Margin of Victory in Destroyers’ Win

On July 16, the Door County Destroyers hosted rival Sheboygan County in a MidStates Football League (MSFL) match-up in week four. The Destroyers put the game away early as they piled up the points in a 52-8 victory. With the win the Destroyers improve to 3-1 and the Rebels drop to 0-4.

Standout performers of the day: Quarterback T.J. Arndt was 13-23 for 204 yards and had 3 touchdowns; running back TaMar Scott rushed 17 times for 120 yards and had 3 touchdowns; wide receiver Andre Wilson caught 4 passes for 118 yards and 1 touchdown; wide receiver Tristan Wohlrabe-Fritsch hauled in 4 passes for 48 yards and 2 touchdowns; safety Bryan Beachler led the defense with 6 tackles, 1 for loss and 2 interceptions; defensive end Adam Brandt had 4 tackles, 2 for loss and 1 sack; defensive tackle Alex Klein tallied 5 tackles, 2 for loss.
