Wildlife Rescue, Transport Volunteers Needed

Would you like to help injured and orphaned wildlife? Wildlife of Wisconsin (WOW) – a wildlife-rehabilitation facility north of Manitowoc – is looking for volunteers in the Door County area to rescue and/or transport wildlife in need.

Transport volunteers are needed to pick up injured or orphaned animals that are already contained in a box or carrier at a home or business and transport them to WOW’s facility or another site to receive medical care and/or shelter.

A training session will be held March 12, 1:30-3 pm, at Crossroads at Big Creek, 2041 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay. Registration is required by calling 920.732.3918 or emailing [email protected].
