Will Roberts Landscapes at TAP Gallery

The landscapes of Will Roberts will be displayed in the Third Avenue Playhouse Lobby Gallery through Sept. 13. Paintings can be viewed during TAP box office hours, in addition to before and after performances of The House of Blue Leaves.

Roberts is a retired public school art teacher started his career as a potter, photographer and printmaker. He moved to pastels upon retirement and in the last five years has taken up acrylic painting. Always an experimenter with materials he looks to use them in a way that is uniquely his. With a strong background in color theory he now takes and uses color intuitively. He gathers ideas from places he has been, and in a studio setting paints his world.

He has exhibited throughout Wisconsin and is represented in Door County by the Blue Dolphin House Studio in Ephraim.
