On July 28 at 7 pm Ministry Door County Medical Center will present “Between Wind & Water,” a collection of some of Door County’s finest national touring artists. Musical artists Hans Christian, Dorothy Scott and Julian Hagen will headline the night, offering audience members a full night of folk, jazz, blues, country and alternative music.

Dorothy Scott has flowed effortlessly between genres, achieving popularity in pop, folk, blues and alternative. Often compared to Joni Mitchell, Neil Young and Jeff Buckley, Dorothyʼs style and sound remain uniquely her own.

Hans Christian’s work has been documented on countless recording projects, from his participation as a cellist, bass player or multi-instrumentalist, to his collaborations with other artists as a producer and engineer, and to his works as a composer of solo recordings.

Julian Hagen has spent nearly 40 years playing, writing and producing music. A Washington Island native, he says, “there will always be a story to tell, a new song to write, and a melody to strum.”

All concerts are free of charge. For more information about the Summer Concert Series, please call 920.493.5979. In case of rain, the concerts are held at the Door County Fire Company in Sturgeon Bay.
