Wing Span Project Now On Display at Bruemmer Park Zoo

On July 28, the Zoological Society of Kewaunee County (ZSKC) awarded Anthony Herzog, a former Kewaunee High School student, for his charitable work on the Wing Span Project, now on display at the zoo. The Wing Span Project was an idea proposed in order to educate visitors on a variety of birds found in Northeast Wisconsin.

As a senior at Kewaunee High, Herzog and his teacher, Mr. Jeff Lee, worked tirelessly on the project in order to have it completed and installed in time for summer in Kewaunee County. All wood used on the project was donated by Forest Construction of Luxemburg.

The Bruemmer Park Zoo is open free to the public and is located in Kewaunee County at the intersection of County Road C and County Road F; approximately two miles northwest of the City of Kewaunee.
