Winter Park Set to Open

The snow has fallen; the hills have been groomed; and Winter Park in Kewaunee County is ready to open! The fun will begin with a test run of the snow-tubing hill Dec. 27, 11 am – 4 pm, weather permitting. Then the ski/snowboarding hills are scheduled to open with regular-season hours for the entire park beginning Dec. 28-29. Regular-season hours for the public are on weekends only. 

The Kewaunee County Promotions and Recreation Department asks that visitors confirm the park’s conditions on the Winter Park Facebook page when making plans.

Winter Park is hiring park assistants for the snow-tubing and ski/snowboarding hills. Find the job description and applications at kewauneeco.org under the Employment tab.
