Wisconsin Artists Showcase Features Door County Artist

The Wisconsin Artists Showcase at the Jura Silverman Gallery in Spring Green, Wisconsin displays a collection of recent work by two Stephanie Trenchard of Sturgeon Bay. The exhibition, entitled “Two Perspectives of Wisconsin: Jens Carstensen and Stephanie Trenchard” will be on display until September 15.

Trenchard’s landscape abstractions are highlighted alongside Cartensen’s plein air oil paintings. Both artists have expressionistic perspectives in their paintings of landscapes in Wisconsin. Each uses blocks of color to evoke the seasons in Wisconsin in a bold distinctive technique.
