Wisconsin Council of Churches Executive Director to Visit Hope United Church

All adults and teens are welcome to attend when Rev. Kerri Parker, executive director of the Wisconsin Council of Churches, shares information about the council’s programs, ministries and resources Oct. 27, 9-10:15 am, at Hope United Church of Christ, 141 S. 12th Ave. in Sturgeon Bay.

Parker will also discuss its recent Youth and Gun Violence Initiative, addressing how church communities can engage gun violence with gospel values and a grounding in faith.The Wisconsin Council of Churches is a community of 20 member faith traditions and approximately 2,000 congregations that are engaged in a common ministry focused on church unity, peacemaking, social and economic justice and revitalizing congregations.
