Wisconsin Farm Service Agency (FSA) Reminders

Wisconsin Farm Service Agency (FSA) State Executive Director Brad Pfaff, announced that orchardists and nursery tree growers who experienced losses due to natural disasters occurring from January 1, 2008, through September 30, 2011, may be eligible for the Tree Assistance Program (TAP).

To qualify for TAP, orchardists must suffer a qualifying tree, bush or vine loss in excess of 15 percent mortality from an eligible natural disaster.

Also, the FSA reminds producers to submit their annual acreage report to their local FSA county office by July 16 to meet FSA program eligibility requirements.
