Wisconsin Film Fest Seeks Wisconsin Applicants

The Wisconsin Film Festival is now accepting submissions in the Wisconsin’s Own categories for their 2014 festival, scheduled for April 5 & 6.

Submission deadlines for the 2014 festival are Nov. 30 for Wisconsin’s Own (films of any length from filmmakers with Wisconsin connections) and Dec. 31 for Wisconsin’s Own Student (films of any length from student filmmakers with a Wisconsin connection).

Films entered in the 2014 Wisconsin Film Festival’s Wisconsin’s Own or Wisconsin’s Own Student categories are eligible to receive a coveted Golden Badger Award.

2013 Golden Badger winner for Best Documentary Dear Mr. Watterson, a film about Calvin and Hobbes creator Bill Watterson, and directed by Joel Schroeder, is receiving a theatrical release starting Nov. 15.
